T.R.O.T.A.K In 1998 I enrolled in a training programme with Te Runanga O Turanganui a Kiwa (T.R.O.T.A.K) gaining Unit Standards and Practical Skills required in the forestry industry under tutors Peter Ruru, Jack Peneha and Ross Gregory from the Ruapani centre Gisborne.This gives me the opportunity to acknowledge all those involved in this programme i.e Des Craig(OSH),Shane Kaaho,Johnny Wilson(JNL),FITEC,LIRO,FRI,LFTIB,RAYONIER NZ,Ruru & Willis,FLETCHER FOREST,KPP,Hohneck Logging Rotorua ,OWENS (Gisborne Port) , the many people who shared their experiences with us and Turanga Ararau office staff. Race time,3 cuts were to be made.1 bore cut coming out on the line,up down to complete the biscuit.2 upper cut to complete biscuit 2. The 3rd cut was the down cut to complete biscuit 3.
