Lorton Dogs opened the Dog Park at South Run District Park in Springfield near Lee Chapel Rd & Fairfax Co Pkwy in December 2001. This is the Largest Off-Leash Dog Area and is appx 1.3 acres! For more information, please check out their website:

Reston Dogs opened the Dog Park at Baron Cameron Park located at Wiehle and Baron Cameron in September 2001. The park capacity is 40 dogs and there is WATER and a SEPARATE SMALL DOG AREA for dogs under 25lbs! Reston Dogs is also active in dog related community activities. Mason District D.O.G. opened the Dog Park at Mason District Park in Annandale off Columbia Pike in June 2002. Please park in the main parking area off Columbia Pike and and follow the trail to the Dog Park (10 minute walk). The Dog Park is appx 1 acre in size. HERNDON/OAK HILL
Herndon Dogs is working with the FCPA and the Town of Herndon to create a Dog Park at Chandon Park in Herndon (near Worldgate, off Palmer Dr). The Town of Herndon unanimously approved development of the site and Herndon Dogs is working with the FCPA and actively fundraising to create the site. The FCPA is moving forward with plans and hopefully Chandon Dog Park will open in 2002! For more information, please check out their website:

CENTREVILLE
A small group who frequent Off-Leash Dog Parks are seeking other interested dog owners/dog lovers to establish a Dog Park in the Centreville Area. They are working with the FCPA to construct a site for Sully District at the newly acquired Hunter/Hacor Assemblage Property in far western Fairfax County. Without the very generous support and guidance from Arlington Dogs, the Blake Lane Dog Park would not have been possible! Arlington Dogs is an umbrella organization that supports Off-Leash Dog Areas for Arlington County. A-Doggers are also very active with numerous Dog related causes and charities, including PUPPY PARTIES for Puppies 4 months to 1 year ONLY. A trip to their website will provide locations and directions to the Arlington County Dog Exercise Areas.
