Heteros and women experience the same or similar discrimination if they appear to look like minors as 18 yo. plus legal adults. All those mentioned haven’t been allowed to celebrate, express, or sexualize themselves because of their youthful looks with similar looking peers until recently. In the past rather, more aged masculine, often domination-types, were the image the legal ‘elves’ were forced to view instead of their legal elfish peers. Masculine homely has been ‘in’ for sometime to remove any age doubt, causing all ‘sons’ to need a ‘dad’, instead of a protected bill of rights. (Take that comment in all meanings possible.)
Hollywood has always employed many minor and adult actors to play younger or minor character roles commonly and that age information is played down or hidden to not draw away from character role believability. It’s rampant, multitudes of younger than 18-year-old looking 18 to 21 year-olds all over gay porn these days. Not to chide diversity viewing itself, which has much acceptance merit, but consider the following. No one chides aging muscle bound middle-age or older men about re-living their legal adult youth in viewing muscle bound legal 18- 21 year olds. All legalities being equal, why should short aging elves of middle or older age be chided in re-living their youth by viewing legal 18 to 21year-olds that looked like themselves in those first few legal adult years, similarly. It’s probably more important for this lookism group than the muscle-bound looks group. Those current EastBoys will likely be aging elves decades from now viewing other 18 to 21 year olds looking like minors when they are in their middle-age years and older. Unconstitutional and moralizing mobbing-mentality paternalism attacks the adult elf-boy more than the adult muscle-boy. This should not be unequal nor subject to mass cultural stoning. GLBT culture is now very diversified and muscle-boys and muscle-men need not dominate the whole sensuality by necessity or force as in the vintage 20th century years. Hopefully OTIA will not give us a height measure like at an amusement park, before viewing permission or moralizing economic apartheid. Hollywood should document these cultural and civil rights changes in GLBT culture without even one appeal to moralizing mob scenes, something intra-GLBT to shared with the heteros and break the bondage of both heteronormativity and homonormativity, all things being legal. And absolutely no Boys Don’t Cry creepy hang-over effects after watching the film to-be, please.
Such a movie will make all the hetero boys ‘nature-boys’ again, because they’re all really repressed gay pop tart radical elves too. Tallness can hinder that ‘nature-folk protectors’ cool thing that radical elves have going for them, but doesn’t necessarily need too.
