The Steps:
I followed the yellow brick road...
and came to Where the Sidewalk Ends...
If you are a dreamer, come in,
If you are a dreamer,
A wisher, a liar,
A hope-er, a pray-er,
A magic bean buyer …

A magic bean buyer …
I had to wonder, the day I took this picture, what all I was supposed to put together on a webpage...that's what I do, I take pictures and put them on webpages, not because I am a great photographer, but because I am a vicisiconographer...

Vicisiconography is not in the dictionary...
So what is my definition?
Vicis=change and iconography, according to dictionary.com, is "Pictorial illustration of a subject." Also stating, "collected representations illustrating a subject"... "the images and symbolic representations that are traditionally associated with a person or a subject; "religious iconography", for one...
Welcome to my "l i n g u i s t i c" evolution.

God and I have a basic agreement, I "hear" where to go and I take the pictures as part of our conversation. The picture of the sandals is an actual, as found, pair of sandals in a cemetery in Madison, Indiana, where I neither placed the sandals nor touched them...nor did I place or touch the beans which were there also. Can you see them?

The day of this particular "conversation" I burned up three rolls of film...a little unusual, one might think, in a cemetery, but then, I suppose I am a little unusual, in that I believe I am "in conversation" and take pictures of part of the conversation...another example...

After I took the picture of the sandals, and a few more pictures, I was drawn to an area at the edge of the woods, a tall sycamore beckoned, and I took its picture. Then, I was drawn to the right towards a hillside, and a small red, plastic apple caught my eye. I took the picture then made the connection that I was wearing a shirt with an apple on it, so I tried to take a picture of myself, or at least the shirt on me. I wanted to do so, as a marker in that part of the conversation, to prove where I was in the conversation and in the cemetery at that point. I was unsure how the picture would turn out, and proceeded to take four more pictures of other things on that roll, and then another two rolls. This is where it gets interesting. I went to Kroger to have the film developed, and got back all but one picture, the one I took of my shirt. God has a great sense of humor all right. Why do I need to prove anything? Funny. I remember our agreement, take pictures...I do not always get them back, but sometimes that is a story in itself. So, having remembered I had taken the picture and wanted it, I went back to Kroger's with the negatives and showed the salesclerk what was missing. I was wearing an Applebee's shirt that day. The only part of the shirt seen is LEBEE, which I laughed when I saw it, thinking "the bee", you know, le bee. I got my pictures back an hour later, this picture needed to be developed in such a way as to make this story make sense...humorously. God knows all my thoughts and because of that many things that others take for granted, I know are there for a reason. Cartoons have a way of showing up the next day and, well, you see for yourself...

I was able to take the pictures in the Madison cemetery because I saw this picture of the angel with one raised arm on a friend's computer...he told me I would appreciate seeing something in the cemetery, a large monument of a woman with two raised arms...I took that picture too, and the name of the statue is, "Let There Be Light".

Ecclesiastes 1:9 That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun.
1:10 Is there anything of which it may be said, "See, this is new"? It has already been in ancient times before us.
1:11 There is no remembrance of former things, Nor will there be any remembrance of things that are to come By those who will come after.
