Rickey Wilson's KR2(Type a Headline Here)
Here are a few pictures of my KR2,
Since these pictures were made the instrument panel has been redone. I covered the old radio cutouts with  panels and refinished the woodgrain. It looks much better now. I also put a new prop on it since then. The area around the outside of the cockpit is where there was some old weatherstrip and I haven't removed the old glue that was left. It's set up for single place operation now, but it would be very easy to convert back to two place. I just have to bolt the two rudder pedals back in and move the throttle and mixture back to the other side. The control stick is in the center. It needs some cosmetic touching up here and there. If you look carefully you can see a couple of places on the side of the fuselage, just above the wing that need sanding flush and painting.I also built a lip for the seal at the rear of the canopy, I still need to sand the aft part of the canopy and paint it. It seems like a never ending job getting it the way I want it to be.  I plan to take it to the airport in the spring of 2004 and start testing. I have the Diehl gear legs to put on it also. I believe I can save some weight as well as reduce the drag by changing to Diehl gear. I am going to keep the trigear configuration.
