TRUE Messianic Judaism Is Not The "Jews4Jesus" Organization
True Messianic Judaism is not the same thing as the "Jews For Jesus" organization. "Jews For Jesus" is a well-intentioned Christian missionary organization, seeking to CONVERT Jewish people to mainstream "Christianity"---The Church. I say they are "well-intentioned" because in their hearts, they believe they are are correct. And also, it can be said that they were the first noticable group of Jewish believers in Y'shua, starting the newly revived movement of Jewish believers. It can also be said that they paved the way for us. Notably, Moishe Rosen, its founder, comes to mind. So true, we should be appreciative of them, even though we can recognize their error. And in humility, we should first examine ourselves for our own errors and not hate them for theirs. We all are fallabe mortal human beings, capable of being in error ourselves as well. However, they are in error because they seek to assimmulate Jewish people into the Church, where they most-likely will be taught all sorts of anti-Torah teachings. For it is a tragedy when "Christians" wrongly convey to Jewish people that they have to give up Judaism to be a Christian! Personally, I have experienced G-dly love from someone in the Jews For Jesus organization when I was sick in the hospital. Yet I feel a need to raise this issue here, because there needs to be a clear distinction made between this organization and True Messianic Judaism. True Messianic Judaism centers on the Eternal Covenant between Ha Shem and Isra'El. Messianic Jews know that the Torah is Eternal. We know that all that is Good, True and Loving in the world comes from Ha Shem into the world, because of His Eternal Covenant with Isra'El. This brings to mind a passage in Isaiah that Speaks of the future time of Redemption:
Isa 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of ADONAI's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
Isa 2:3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of ADONAI, to the house of the Elohim of Yaakov; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Tziyon shall go forth the Torah, and the word of ADONAI from Yerushalayim.
Isa 2:4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
--Isaiah 2:2-4 I.A.V.
There are certainly many, many passages throughout the Tanakh that convey this thought. However, we must really believe these most Glorious Words to be in His Wonderful Grace. 'Amen.
