A Tribute to Sir Walter Murdoch (1874-1970)
Murdoch University was named after Sir Walter Murdoch, a prominent Australian academic and essayist. The University is proud of its association with someone who was famous for his intelligence, wit and humanity, and it constantly strives to live up to its namesake's vision.
Sir Walter Murdoch was Foundation Professor of English (1912-1939), and Chancellor (1943-1948) of the University of Western Australia.

The "Science and Health" Display was located in a very prominent place in a busy thoroughfare
The large board had many interesting items displayed for the staff and students, as well as visitors to the Library
The two views of the display from the corridor and from the inside of the Research Section
Mary Baker Eddy as "This Woman Who Never Gave Up" and her Book "Science and Health" were the main themes in the above Display
On our way back to the Carpark we passed these lovely metal sculpture pieces on the Oval
