Our Gratitude
The Book Displays in our Western Australian Public Libraries, have been a wonderful proof of God's loving direction. This activity opened every closed door, for God's word to be known and shared, by the local community and all mankind.
We have had some lovely demonstrations of God's care along the way. One such time was when we were driving to put up a book display and it started raining very heavily. It was very unusual for that time of the year, being mid-March in Western Australia. We declared and prayed to know that we were about God's work and business. His 'umbrella' was sheltering us, and the display materials, from the downpour. As we approached the library car park, we witnessed the results of our prayers right away. The rain had stopped completely and we saw a car bay close to the entrance, which was being vacated as someone was just about to leave. It was the first bay next to the library entrance. We just felt loved and protected and our prayers were answered 'all the way'.
Another situation was, when one of the Librarians was happy to receive a complimentary copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy for the Library, but did not wish to have a Book Display there. A few days later however, I received a call from the above mentioned Librarian to book a display at the library.
I would like to acknowledge with deep gratitude, the support and help given to us by the members of the Fremantle and Midland Societies, the members of the Perth Church, Trust Australia, and the Mother Church for making this activity a very fulfilling and fruitful one.
We wish to express our thanks and appreciation to the staff at the Public Libraries, where the Book Displays took place.
