A systems integrator by day
and a weekend musician, I just can't help but be inspired by talented singer/songwriters.

Site Info |
This site was officailly
launched on August 30th, 2000. Please check back often as it evolves. And
by all means, please send me any links, news, websites or comments that
you think should be added. -I'm only one man and cannot/do not spend all
day online researching. This site is primarily focused on the St. Louis
singer/songwriter community but Hey, we're ALL in this together. You play
our town, we play your town. |
Quick Links |
Just to get started, the
links below are the first ones that come to mind. KDHX
Community Radio. Without them, I would not have the opportunity to
hear all the good music that enriches my life. Local promoters Jeff Shaw
and Kentaro Sugiyama
have been the fire that keeps the local scene burning up! And recently,
I was involved with an exciting project called "Elbow
Grease" -Eight St. Louis songwriters who created a compilation CD,
produced by Rob Woerther.
Please visit each site and tell 'em Luke sent ya. |
Artist Portfolio |
Luke started out by performing novelty songs. Someone once remarked
that he had no business singing in public, but he didn't let that stop
him. One trip to the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville was all it took to spark
the songwriter within. He describes his music as "Country Eastern," "City
Western," or "Hillbilly Blues." He has opened for national touring acts,
played live on radio and TV, appeared on festival stages, and is frequently
heard in local churches, coffehouses and bars. He learned his finger-picking
style from the country blues, bluegrass and folk traditions. |
