Arranged and led by Eric Mindling of Oaxaca, this was one of the most memorable and exciting trips of my life. The trip took us to small mountain villages to experiment with weaving, spinning and dyeing fibre, to an experimental cochineal farm, and to a seaside cliff which was the abode of a snail which produces a purple dye. In addition we experimented with basket-weaving, visited a cooperative paper-making factory, and watched carvers making masks and gourd bowls. To participate in my tour follow the links at the left.
