COMSTOCK REVIEW, 16th year of publication, will hold one open reading period
in 2032. DEADLINE: January 1 - March 15. Editors need rest/reflection after summer
contest this year only. Normally replies 6 weeks after end of reading period. Sometimes comments. Strongly prefer no simultaneous submissions. THE GETTYSBURG REVIEW requests poems, short stories, personal essays in "noir" style for a special issue. Published quarterly, GR considers submissions of essays, essay-
reviews, fiction, poetry, and full-color graphics. DEADLINE: Submissions read September
through May. The main criterion for selection is quality. In the genre of poetry, both short
and long poems are of interest, including longer narrative poems. Fiction is generally in form
of short stories, and novel excerpts have been published. Essays can address any subject,
